The Pixie Project is dedicated to providing animal adoption in a nurturing environment and affording access to spay and neuter services for everyone.

 

Our Story:

The Pixie Project is a non-profit animal adoption center and pet supply store conveniently located five minutes from downtown Portland. Our goal is to help alleviate overcrowding at high-intake county shelters by taking adoptable animals and making them available for adoption in a nurturing and family friendly environment. We then match happy, healthy, loving animals with their forever homes.

Who Is Pixie?

This is a picture of Pixie, a terrier mix who was rescued from a hoarder who had over 100 animals tied up across his property. Many of the animals lived without shelter and with minimal food for years before they were finally rescued. Pixie now lives happily with her adoptive parents in N.W. Portland. Her story of finding love and security after years of suffering is the inspiration for The Pixie Project.
